History and Photo Gallery of Fridrich Bicycle

Horse drawn wagon used to haul coal and feed from Fridrich's. The horse's names from left to right are Bruce, Betsy and George. Approximate date of this photograph is 1898.

This is the earliest picture available of our store. We started out as a Coal and Feed store. Had to be taken around 1885. Not sure about who is standing out front.

Our Shop area. We had two levels of repair and assembly at this time. Here we see the upper level of the assembly shop. Approximate date early 1900's.   Our sales floor with some frames and complete bicycles ready for sale. The wheel racks in the background are still used today. Approximate date 1920's.

Here is the front of our store. The date of this photo is sometime in the early 1940's. The building that has 100 Used bikes written on the sign is named Schwinn Hall.   Here is the front of the store in 1955. The trolley cars are still running and newer electric buses share the tracks with them.
