2006 Raleigh Bicycles - Fridrich Bicycle
When you buy a Raleigh, you not only buy a
bicycle, but a piece of history. The Raleigh Cycle Company has
been around as long as the bicycle itself.

Raleigh’s roots go back to 1887. Raleigh bicycles were first
introduced to the US market in 1933. At that time, the well-known
department store Abercrombie and Fitch became the first Raleigh
agent in America. In 1985 Raleigh moved its US headquarters to its
present location south of Seattle in Kent, WA.

Raleigh remains at the forefront of bicycle design. Raleigh’s
research and development teams have designed and developed
exciting, innovative and original new color finishes and graphics.
With the introduction of such major developments as Shimano
component groups, suspension forks, oversized frame tubing and
full-suspension designs, Raleigh is poised to take cycling to the
next millennium.
